Marriage has been a blessing thus far despite having to adjust and learning to adapt to new environment and people. Comes Monday, my husband and I will be celebrating our first anniversary. Married life is interesting. It’s a compilation of everything with a dose of reality and icing sugar sprinkled right on top of everything good and bad. I still have my days when I woke up and thought to myself, “Wow, I have an eternity to do this”. I guess, it’s the realisation of being attached to someone for life that is slowly registering in my head.
My husband and I have been together for as long as I could remember. We have been through a lot together and being where we are today makes me ever so grateful to Allah S.W.T for making it possible for us both to be strong through the bad days and giving us the courage and determination to run till the finish line.
What can I say, married life is simply a blessing :D
